An IT professional operates a computer in a server room, managing network systems and connected devices.

Borders Community Action is pleased to introduce a new member benefit developed in response to a clear need across the third sector in the Borders: affordable, reliable and secure IT support that helps organisations work safely and confidently.

Through a new partnership with VectorCloud, BCA members can now access a loyalty discount code for a tailored IT services offer designed to support organisations of all sizes. This partnership has been created to help members strengthen cyber security, use safe systems and software, and reduce the pressure on limited internal resources while improving day-to-day IT resilience.

The VectorCloud service offer includes:

  • Managed or membership-based IT support services
  • Free virtual Chief Information Officer (vCIO) access
  • Annual IT audits
  • Vulnerability pentesting or equivalent security review
  • Discounted labour rates for custom IT work or projects
  • Free employee onboarding for new IT users
  • Free cloud migration assessment
  • Access to discounted Microsoft pricing where available

Cyber security is now a core part of good organisational practice. Keeping systems updated, reviewing vulnerabilities regularly and ensuring staff are supported with secure onboarding and safe processes all help reduce risk and protect the people and services that charities and community organisations rely on every day.

We hope this new offer will give members practical support, better value and greater confidence in their IT systems. If you would like to access the discount code or learn more about the service, please contact BCA at [email protected].
