Lorna joined BCA as one of the Community Development Leads at its inception in April 2023. She brought with her 5 years of experience working in community development, following a 20 year career in the private sector, in customer service and relationship management roles. Switching to working in the third sector has allowed Lorna to use her experience to have a social impact, where working to drive action in communities is helping to improve the lives often of the most vulnerable. Lorna sees first hand that the Scottish Borders is thriving in community led activity and she holds the utmost respect for the those who choose to volunteer their time to help others.
