This is a reminder that the deadline for Neighbourhood Support fund (NSF) is midnight on Sunday 2nd August 2026. If you haven’t already submitted your application, you have just a few days to do so.
The Neighbourhood Support Fund, administered by Borders Community Action in partnership with Scottish Borders Council, will distribute £166,523 in 2026/27 to support grassroots projects across the Scottish Borders. The fund focuses on strengthening shared community spaces, improving health and wellbeing, tackling social isolation and increasing digital and community participation.
Grants of £500 to £5,000 are available for revenue and capital costs, for community spaces including equipment, minor repairs, running costs, as well as Health & Wellbeing activities and digital inclusion. There is also an element of emergency support for rural village halls. Decisions should be expected in mid-September 2026.
