Following the recent update on the Scottish Government’s proposals for public service reform, Borders Community Action (BCA) wants to hear your views.

The Scottish Government has made it clear that change is necessary to improve how public services work for people and communities. But what should that change look like for the Scottish Borders?

Why this matters for the Scottish Borders

As a rural area, the Scottish Borders needs to ensure that any new arrangements strengthen local democracy, keep decision-making close to communities and recognise the vital role of the third sector.

BCA is remaining open-minded and evidence-led. Before forming a position, the organisation wants to understand what is working, what needs to change and what the proposals could mean for communities and organisations across the region.

Share your views

Your opinion matters.

BCA is inviting individuals and organisations to complete a short survey and share their views on the future of public services in Scotland. Feedback gathered through the survey will help inform BCA’s contribution to the discussion and ensure that the voice of the Scottish Borders third sector is heard.
