Help shape future support and services

The Scottish Borders Council’s Economic Development Team is seeking views to help better understand the causes of economic inactivity, identify gaps in support provision and inform future priorities and interventions across employability, skills, health, transport, childcare and economic development.

A partner questionnaire has been developed to gather insights from frontline staff and volunteers who work directly with individuals experiencing barriers to employment, training, volunteering or other forms of economic activity.

Who are they seeking feedback about?

They are particularly interested in the views of:

  • Young people
  • Disabled people
  • People with long term health conditions
  • Parents and carers
  • Minority ethnic communities
  • Refugees and asylum seekers
  • Older workers
  • People experiencing poverty or housing instability
  • Rural and isolated communities

Share with your organisation

Please share this questionnaire throughout your organisation and encourage completion by colleagues, staff members, volunteers and practitioners who work directly with clients, customers, service users or community members. Their experiences and observations will provide valuable insight into the challenges people face and the support needs that exist across the Scottish Borders.
