A free presentation by Fraser Murray from Bright Green Nature exploring the topic of nature restoration, often referred to as rewilding, and its role in supporting biodiversity and ecological recovery.
As public interest in nature restoration continues to grow, many people have questions about what it means for local communities, landscapes and livelihoods. This informative presentation will provide an accessible introduction to the subject and encourage open discussion about both opportunities and concerns.
Bright Green Nature supports ecological restoration and conservation while recognising the importance of respecting local heritage, traditions and livelihoods. The session aims to create a welcoming space where a range of views can be shared and discussed constructively.
The presentation will last approximately 50 minutes and will be followed by a facilitated discussion, providing attendees with the opportunity to ask questions, share perspectives and learn from others.
