Care Experienced Week Launch Fun Day

The launch of Care Experienced Week 2026 will be celebrated with an afternoon of fun, friendship and community. This free, family-friendly event is designed for care experienced children and young people, families, carers and those who support them. Whether attendees wish to get creative, take part in activities, meet new people or simply enjoy spending time together, there will be something for everyone.

With activities for all ages, a dedicated Teen Zone for older young people, games, music, creative activities and wellbeing spaces, the event has been designed to be relaxed, welcoming and enjoyable for the whole family. Food and refreshments will be provided, giving everyone the opportunity to enjoy the start of Care Experienced Week together.

Most importantly, the event offers a chance to celebrate the strengths, talents and achievements of care experienced children and young people, connect with others and be part of a community where everyone feels valued, included and supported. All attendees will receive a warm welcome.
