Borders Community Action is delighted to announce the launch of Round 6 of the Communities Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund, continuing our work in supporting grassroots organisations to improve mental health and wellbeing across the Scottish Borders.
Since its inception in 2021, the Fund has played a key role in empowering community-based organisations to deliver vital mental health support, tackling issues such as social isolation, crisis intervention, and emotional resilience.
The Fund has a strong focus on prevention and early intervention and aims to support grassroots community groups in tackling mental health inequalities and addressing priority issues of social isolation, loneliness, suicide prevention and tackling poverty and inequality.
This year a total of £65,400 is available due to the multi-year funding pilot from last year for rounds 5 and 6. The fund is therefore focused on small grants up to £5000.
Applications can be made through our website between 2nd September – 16th October 2026.
