Defibrillator Workshop

Coldingham Brave Bayers CIC, in partnership with St Abbs Lifeboat, is offering a free interactive workshop to help members of the community feel confident using a defibrillator in emergency situations.

The session is designed to increase awareness of defibrillators, build confidence in their use and help participants understand how these potentially life-saving devices can be used in community, outdoor and swimming settings.

Participants will have the opportunity to:

• Gain hands-on experience using a practice defibrillator
• Watch videos and take part in discussions about different types of defibrillator
• Practise resuscitation techniques using a training mannequin
• Explore real-world emergency scenarios
• Learn from experienced St Abbs Lifeboat volunteers and Brave Bayers team members

Group sizes are kept small to encourage participation in a supportive and welcoming environment.

If attendees can no longer attend, organisers ask that they cancel as early as possible to allow a place to be offered to someone on the waiting list.
